The Uganda BEPS Assessment Tool Project kicked-off January 2023 with representatives from both the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) and the Uganda Ministry of Planning and Economic Development (MOPED). This entry the 4 phases of the project. Phase 1 being the kick-off, Phase 2 - Questionnaire and Phase 3, the in-country visit in April 2023. Phase 4 costs for drafting the report and submission of the Final Report to the Ugandan tax authorities. The BAT Assessment project aims to help consolidate weak areas in the BEPS framework employed in Uganda currently.
