EAC-IMF Workshop on Tax Treaties for the East Africa Community (EAC) Member States

One IBFD expert provided his expertise to officials of EAC member states with regard to advanced simulated negotiation exercises and related international taxation issues. Specific objectives of the meeting were (1) to discuss the draft Commentary of the EAC Model Tax Treaty; (2) to discuss treaty implementation processes and (3) to examine the latest changes to the UN Model and OECD Model.
