Burkina Faso is in the grip of a triple crisis of armed conflict, climate change, and COVID-19. Poor infrastructure and services have exacerbated IDPs and host communities’ needs of food, WASH and protection support, with the overall severity of needs being greatest in the Centre-Nord and the Sahel region. The response consists of WASH, Protection, and MPC interventions in Dori (Sahel), Kaya, and Koungoussi (Centre Nord) to address the urgent needs of the most vulnerable IDPs and the host community.
