Under the Legitimate Stability Research Programme (LSRP), the Clingendael Institute, through its Conflict Research Unit (CRU) and the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) partner to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of international efforts to address present-day conflict and fragility. To do this, the LSRP provides policy and programming relevant research. Building on a strong foundation of independent, interdisciplinary and evidence-based research, the overall objective of the LSRP is to: Produce research outputs that can serve as relevant and timely input into the policy and programming cycles of the international community, with particular focus on the Netherlands, aiming to contribute to the development and implementation of more effective policies and programming in response to current and emerging conflict and insecurity dynamics. Research outputs for the LSRP include research reports, policy briefs, short analytical pieces, portfolio reviews, Theory of Change reviews, scenario exercises, facilitation of workshops and trainings and the facilitation of strategy dialogues
