National appeal 'Help slachtoffers aardbeving' (support victims earthquake Türkiye and Syria)

On Monday, February 6, a terrible disaster completely changed the lives of millions of people in Türkiye and Syria. Multiple powerful earthquakes and aftershocks caused massive damage. More than 50,000 people died and many others were injured. At least 2.7 million people were left homeless. In exceptional disasters, 11 Dutch collaborating aid organizations join forces under Giro555. Doctors of the World takes part in the emergency aid provision for Türkiye and Syria. The funding is used to provide medical care and psychosocial support to the affected people.
