Netherlands Water and Agriculture Expert Support Facility

The programme Strenghthening the Lebanese Water and Agriculture Sector has been designed to deliver specifi c results by bringing in advanced Netherlands expertise in priority areas. In addition, a facility has been created to be able to respond quickly to further requests for advanced Netherlands expertise by institutions and organizations active in the Lebanese water and agriculture sector. This facility will also provide access of Netherlands expertise to the Lebanese water and agriculture Sector. Who can apply? The facility is open to requests from Lebanese institutions and international organizations working to improve the water and agriculture sector in Lebanon that would like to enhance the impact of their activities and interventions by making use of advanced Netherlands expertise. It is expected that the facility will be used for limited interventions - not requiring personal contribution of more than two months, and not requiring substantial investments. Moreover, the facility will be put to the attention of the Lebanese Ministry of Energy and Water, the Ministry of Environment, the Council for Development & Reconstruction, the World Bank and other partners the programme is working with.
