Natural Fertilizer - Building up the business case for efficient fertilization and soil conservation with coffee farmers- Uganda

The aim of Soil & More in Uganda is to contribute to an improved enabling environment for smallholder female and male farmers for easy access/usage of targeted organic and inorganic fertilizers. In this project, the overall goal until 2020 is to produce solid evidence-based L&A materials together with the local project partners and actors. These materials will be based on an appropriate soil and leaf sampling campaign and the consequent fertilization options. These materials have two main objectives: 1) it should be used to build up local capacity for the establishment of evidence-based L&A work and 2) to actually implement, i.e. to take ownership of the jointly identified sustainable farming practices.
