Right Here Right Now (RHRN) is a strategic partnership between Rutgers Netherlands, Asian-Pacific Resource and Research Centre of Women (ARROW), CHOICE for Youth and Sexuality, dance4life, Hivos, International Planned Parenthood Federation Africa Region (IPPF AR), Latin American and Caribbean Women’s Health Network (LACWHN) and the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs. The partnership addresses the limited protection and respect and the hindered fulfillment of the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of young people in 10 countries and one sub-region, in low- and middle-income countries in Africa (Kenya, Senegal, Uganda, Zimbabwe), Asia (Bangladesh, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan), and Latin America (Bolivia, Honduras) and the Caribbean, with a focus on: freedom from stigma, discrimination and violence, access to comprehensive youth-friendly services and to comprehensive information regarding young people’s SRHR, and space for young people’s voices and meaningful participation. CHOICE aims to ensure the meaningful participation of young people throughout the RHRN programme at all levels and in all phases. In addition to doing our own advocacy, CHOICE will also encourage, capacitate and empower youth advocates at the national and international level, ensuring that they can create a critical mass to advocate for and voice their SRHR.
