The purpose of the project is to empower female dairy farmers and their families by enhancing their access to and control over the benefits of the smallholder dairy enterprises in the target area to increase their annual income, improve their health, nutrition and food security, build resilience towards climate change negative effects, empower women and strengthen the social, organizational and managerial capacities of assisted Self Help Groups. These positive changes will culminate in improving the livelihoods of assisted female headed households.
