In December 2014, Living Earth received follow-on funding from the UK Government’s Conflict Poolto enable us to continue to build upon the successes of our community peace-building approach, linking dialogue to concrete actions. This new phase of the project, which will run for six months until May 2015, sees us join forces with our current partner AMSS, and with new partners International Alert and ARGA, Alliance Malienne pour Refonder la Gouvernance en Afrique. Over the next six months we will work together to expand the dialogue – action approach to three new districts and to carry out participatory research on local markets and economic opportunities, on attitudes towards internally displaced people and on traditional governance systems. These research pieces will be used to inform our own programme development and will be shared more widely within the NGO and donor community and with national government.;
