The project is designed to address operational challenges being faced by the TCCIA and ZNCCIA in executing their mandate i.e. Advocacy, business information exchange, COO issuance and capacity building. The main challenges include:
• Payment processing and reconciliation challenges
• Inability to transmit COOs to EAC partner states as required under the Single Customs Territory framework
• Challenges in managing membership information and related data
• System usability challenges
