We Lead - to claim our sexual and reproductive health and rights

‘We Lead” is designed to strengthen the voices and position of four groups of young women who are most left behind when it comes to their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRH-R). We strongly believe that everyone has the right to decide about their own bodies and their sexual lives. Our consortium is committed to supporting young women to take the lead in claiming this right, and to lobby and advocate for policies and practices that acknowledge, respect, and secure their SRH-R. For the four groups “We Lead” will engage with and support, fulfilment of SDGs 3 and 5 which is still far away: young women and adolescent girls who live with HIV or with a disability; who identify as lesbian, bisexual, trans or intersex (LBTI); or who are affected by displacement. We are particularly mindful of the intersection of these identities, such as young refugee women with a disability. The voices, ideas and needs of these specific groups of young women are often absent
