Program Strengthening the Role of the Government in Developing the National Sustainable Development Agenda based on UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) officially began on 1 November 2018. The program has a goal in order that State integrates the principles of UNGPs into its law and policy framework, and the related parties can well practice various initiatives for business to respect human rights. The progress report of program implementation is formulated to identify the current achievements for the period of November 2018 until December 2019 based on the four outcomes. During November 2018 – January 2019, the first three months, the focus of the activities was to set up coordination and mapping of the related parties beneficial for program implementation. Furthermore, due to the concurrent schedule of formulating the V generation of Human Rights National Action Plan, the program has a significant contribution and encouragement to include principles of UNGPs within it. In this report, we attempts to give brief illustration of the journey and dynamics of the program implementation. Since there are several works, which need the collaboration with other parties, namely, government, private sector, NGOs, and society, various approaches must be carried out.
