Young Lives is a unique, innovative, longitudinal mixed methods study following the lives of 12,000 children in Ethiopia, India (in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), Peru and Vietnam, and is recognised internationally as one of the only major longitudinal studies taking a holistic approach to children living in poverty. Over the course of the study, Young Lives has been providing high-quality empirical evidence to better understand the drivers and impacts of child poverty, and to inform policy and programme design aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals' (SDG's) target for children, adolescents and youth.
