Strengthening the Agency and Resilience of Affected Populations in Myanmar (SARA Phase III)

To enable displaced, conflict-affected, chronically vulnerable and stateless households (HH) to meet their critical basic needs, the 15 month SARA Phase III programme (from January 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023) will provide emergency Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) through distributions to at least 25,000 households in Rakhine state, Chin state and Magway region. MC will implement the SARA programme in partnership with eight local organisations. In light of the varying needs, MPCA is the most broadly applicable support mechanism that will enable households to make purchases to meet their individual needs and follow their movements as they relocate around the conflict-affected areas in the target locations.
