Gaza Sky Geeks (GSGs) - Entrepreneurship & Income Generation Initiative

Mercy Corps has designed a programme that will capitalise on the strengths of our ground-breaking Gaza Sky Geeks (GSG) tech entrepreneurship programme and pioneering work in online freelancing to address key underlying constraints hampering growth of the supporting ecosystem. In addition, we will build on the work we have done with micro-enterprises to capitalise on pockets of opportunity to add jobs in other sectors. Increasing micro-enterprises productive capacity so they are able to meet market needs. In doing so, Mercy Corps and GSG have the goal of improving the competitiveness of the technology ecosystem; and create new jobs in the technology and other promising sectors in OPT.
