The Locally Employed Civilian (LEC) Training course is specifically a retraining programme designed for local Afghan staff that supported UK military and civilian staff deployed during Operations in Afghanistan. The programme is provided to help locally employed staff in Afghanistan who are in need of retraining, who would benefit from a wide range of courses in order to find new employment in-country post conflict. The variety of courses on offer range from High School diplomas to qualifications in Engineering and Law.
