Strengthening Citizens’ Access to Justice Impacted Negatively by Natural Resource Exploitation

Overall Objectives: A. Improved accountability and transparency in local communities’ natural resource exploitation and management. B. Increased promotion and protection of the interests and rights of the local population including small risk reduction scheme to reduce the hazards caused by excessive exploitation and management of their natural resources. C. Increased community access to improved social services and infrastructure including health, education and roads funded by natural resource revenue. Specific objectives: A. Improved capability of NMJD, its networks and communities to engage in enhancing integrity in the natural resources sector. B. Improved responsiveness of duty bearers in natural resource exploitation and management through engagements in sustainable multi-stakeholder joint and collaborative forums. ;
