Elimu Bora - Improving Education in Kenya

Overall Objective: To improve access to and provision of primary education for over 37,000 children in 100 schools in three rural and poor counties in Kenya, while building community awareness of and support for better educational practices and appropriate and transparent use of funds. Specific objectives: A] To achieve improved access to good quality basic education and increased retention and attainment rates among students of both genders. B] To enhance the capacity of citizens to understand, enact and implement those laws which uphold and protect their rights. C] To enhance the community’s capacity to hold decision makers to account and take a greater role in decision making.
