Technical assistance for development finance

The project involves conducting research for the Institute of Development Studies. Information on technical assistance programmes linked to capital instruments (loans, equity investments, etc.). – How might one structure a facility that provides support to companies / the investment environment – what models are out there, how do they function, what type of activities, any lessons learnt? – Please identify examples and provide, where available, information on their size, management agent, what instruments they service (donor funded, private?), and funders.
