Increasing tolerance in selected municipalities to promote social cohesion in Kyrgyzstan

The project “Increasing Tolerance in Selected Municipalities to Increase Social Cohesion in Kyrgyzstan” aims to create a dialogue platform between local governments, representatives of different confessions and civil society, in order to ensure equal opportunities for development, cooperation and reduce conflict potential in society. Within the framework of the pilot project, International Alert plans to increase the capacity of representatives of local governments, religious leaders of various confessions and civil society in mediation and conflict analysis skills, joint identification and solution of social problems at the local level under the Constitution and legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
