GIZ context analysis Palestine

GIZ is seeking to develop a deeper understanding of the context of youth living in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza to inform two GIZ programmes, both commissioned by the German Foreign Office, and to develop their approaches to violence prevention, specifically targeting youth groups and police forces. To achieve this aim, GIZ is commissioning a consultancy/research team to provide research, analysis and advice that will inform their current programming, their future interventions, and their understanding of the issue of violence prevention in the context of the Palestinian Territories. GIZ is also seeking a gender-sensitive and conflict-sensitive approach to the stakeholder mapping and analysis, and requires recommendations to take different gender dynamics and factor into account.
