Enhancing inclusive and democratic security governance of Tunisia’s borders with Algeria and Libya.

This project aims to support holistic, long-term reform of the Tunisian security system and security governance of the borders, which is directly informed by and reflects the needs and concerns of communities. The project aims to support reform that comes from the ground up and is based on an inclusive, participatory, people-centred and comprehensive understanding of local public security concerns. Collecting and generating evidence from the ground through, this project will be based on evidence of what works and what does not work (lessons learned) from previous approaches to inform broader Security Sector Reform SSR processes in Tunisia.
