Synergy for Social Cohesion

The project will develop and implement a comprehensive capacity building plan which will assist the Rwandan government and other development actors in mainstreaming national reconciliation, peace building and social cohesion to promote the culture of peace and sustainable development. This will enable all actors in development to proactively engage with citizens and sensitize them on the mutual impact of peace and development. The project will allow for conflict prevention to be mainstreamed into local structures and processes that encourage a culture of peace, in which conflicts are addressed before they degenerate into violence, and in which local government officers as well as civil society members have access to tools that allow them to prevent, manage, and resolve conflicts
