The project will provide an improved and broader understanding of the justice needs of Syrian refugee population and the instruments they are using, if any, to access it. Through a research and methodological toolkit, we aim to contribute to a ‘more people-centred approach for Rule of law reform programming in fragile environments’. One output is to help researchers and practitioners to design effective solutions in similar situations. The research instrument generated will allow a wide set of stakeholders to gain improved understanding of vulnerable groups’ concerns and priorities related to access to justice, including how informal justice and formal institutions interact. This will be shared and potentially replicated elsewhere by other practitioner institutions.
