In 2015 and 2016 KDI is working together with residents to build the resilience of communities in Kibera to adapt and respond to flooding. The overall objective of this project is to create a ?toolkit? that can be used to implement flood risk reduction strategies in Kibera (and ultimately in other informal settlements) while incorporating local perspectives.
