Diaspora connections: towards a policy framework for constructive engagement and reconciliation

The project builds on Alert’s work over the last ten years in Sri Lanka, which includes working with multi-ethnic business leaders, faith leaders and politicians for peace initiatives to establish conducive conditions for inclusive local development, reconciliation and conflict prevention. The project will draw on the support of these strong networks across the country and established key connections with UK diaspora members that can be used to further build capacity and good relations.
