Bringing Economic Empowerment for Street Children

This project aims to enable 2500 street children in Dhaka city expand their income generating capacityand and generate assets to sustainably lift themselves out of extreme poverty by 2013. The main activities include 1_ skills transfer trainingand internships and vocational training.It is designed to prioritise achievement of core_competencies and respond to learning capacity and training needs of participants. 2_ Supporting participants to access an innovative savings product that provides them with a flexible_child friendly_secure and mobile form of asset generation. 3_ An outreach campaign for the implementation of Child Safeguarding Standards in workplaces that is monitored through follow up activities.
