This project is intended to benefit 800 households and 9000 school children people through a response which will provide reliefand support and prevention of further cholera outbreaks. Activities are taking place in three areas of the country_ the north eastand the south and the west and will eventually strengthen peoples capacity to address the risks related to cholera by raising awareness of the disease and how it is spreadand rehabilitating and supplying an additional nine cholera treatment units so that people will have easier access to health careand training 30 health workers and providing access to potable water for two thousand citizens and 1800 school pupils.
