Youth For Change

Youth For Change YFC_ is a youth led programme with the goal of ending Female Genital Mutilation FGM_ and Childand Early and Forced Marriage CEFM. This is achieved through advocacy and campaigning work with decision makersand as well as working in partnership with key experts in the field and relevant youth organisations. The work delivered under Youth For Change contributes to the success of SDG 5. YFC has been running in four countries Bangladesh_Ethiopia_Tanzania and the UK since April 2015. Each national project is guided by a panel of inspirational youth activists and supported by staff facilitators. A global secretariat of young people steer the national partnerships. Plans UK investment in youth led and partnered advocacy stems from our PPA programme delivery and the learnings we have taken from our work with the Global Young Speakers Network and national advocacy.
