"Overall Goal: Unilever and Plan International understand from the pilot in India, the potential behavioural impact (handwashing with soap) and implications of working together to implement So5. Location: India Total Direct beneficiaries: 25046 approximately Total Indirect Beneficiaries: TBC during project start up workshop Expected Outcomes: Outcome 1. School children are aware of and practice handwashing with soap at critical occasions in target schools in Jharkhand and Odisha Outcome 2: Unilever and Plan are informed on working together on School of 5 (So5) Link to CSP: is linked as per the following objective and proposed intervention- Strategic Objective 2: Improved access to water, sanitation, and hygiene services that directly benefit two million children and youth from vulnerable and excluded communities in 6000 Plan villages and urban slums 50% demonstrating sustained open defecation free status) along with three million girls boys and youth indirectly supported through advocacy and policy changes. Proposed intervention: equitable access to improved institutional WASH facilities and improved institutional WASH facilities and improved hygiene practices at home ECCD centres and schools benefiting families, caregivers and user groups "
