The aim of this project is to ensure an efficient and timely response to boys and girls, families and communities affected by the winter season. The project focusses on the distribution of food kits, hygiene kits and setting up Child Friendly Spaces to support the most affected households. These are considered the most urgent needs at the moment, as highlighted by the assessment conducted and beneficiaries consultations. In some areas roads are blocked. Access to the communities has been limited and there is an immediate need of assistance to ensure access to basic needs as food, water and hygiene kits. Plan can access these communities due to its operational offices located in each provinces, therefore provisions will be distributed by our personnel, to the most affected and vulnerable households. During the last emergency, Plan responded succesfully helping and distributing water and food kits for 83.000 people, and implemente 23 Child Friendly Spaces called "Fabricas de inteligencia" that gave support to 36,900 boys and girls and youth.
