The proposed Phase Two $10 million, three-year co-investment will support the Government of Liberia to build on the foundation laid in Phase One and aim to achieve universal coverage of high-impact intervention. The focus will be on i) continuing the delivery and improving the quality of facility-based high-impact interventions -specifically around antenatal and postnatal care, including education and counselling to enhance intervention effectiveness; ii) expanding delivery of high-impact interventions to the community level and target nutrition in adolescents and complementary feeding; iii) strengthening behaviour change and communication to stimulate demand for nutrition services and ensure knowledge is translated to practice; iv) strengthening the enabling environment by improving multisectoral coordination and governance, evidence-based decision making, and high-level advocacy to improve nutrition financing.
