This $3.9 million investment into a World Bank-Executed Trust Fund (BETF) will provide critical technical assistance to strengthen the Government of Nigeria’s capacity to deliver the $232m Accelerating Nutrition Results in Nigeria (ANRiN) International Development Assistance (IDA) programme. The programme is a long-term investment to build and sustain national nutrition programme for the Government of Nigeria. ANRiN aims to increase utilisation of quality, cost-effective nutrition services for pregnant and lactating women, adolescent girls and children under-5 years of age in 12 of Nigeria’s 36 States. It has been designed to support the effective delivery of Nigeria’s National Policy on Food and Nutrition.
