The Power of Nutrition is contributing $10m to this $90m, 5-year programme, co-financed with $80m of IDA. The $90m is the first in a multi-phase approach to be implemented over 10 years, which will contribute to the Government of Madagascar's long term vision of achieving greater human capital. Through Investment Project Financing (IPF) , the project aims to increase the utilization of an evidence-based package of reproductiv, maternal, neonatal, and child health and nutrition (RMCHN) services and improve key nutrition behaviours known to reduce stunting. This investment is providing the necessary analytic and technical assistance to build a knowledge base and develop recommendations which will inform the Government’s decisions on the more complex and longer term institutional, financing, and policy reforms required to achieve and sustain results over the medium to long term.
