China Programme – Infrastructure. This overall Programme will last three years and is aimed at driving inclusive economic growth through the delivery of more commercially viable, higher quality infrastructure projects that can attract private capital. The focus of the Programme is projects in ODA-eligible countries in Africa and Asia, bringing together China expertise and UK/international knowledge to improve the delivery of infrastructure projects. The Programme has four key outputs: 1.The delivery of at least 10 Technical Assistance products that can be implemented byChina, Third Countries and International businesses to support the development of highquality, commercially viable infrastructure projects. 2.Carrying out at least 3 pilot projects to test Technical Assistance products and improvethe quality of projects 3.Investment facilitation in projects by international investors, with a target of £500m 4.Creating a pipeline of at least 100 opportunities for UK and international businesses witha weighted value of £1bn The Programme is split into two phases – a four month Inception Phase and then Implementation. This Agreement is for the Implementation phase only. Work taken forward by the programme will be agreed in ‘commissioning notes’ with the Client. This will result in smaller statements of work agreed between KPMG and the Client on a rolling basis. We will agree with you areas of scope where you are able to provide engineering, construction and technical support (as documented in Subcontract Work Packages) and include these in the commissioning notes. This may include: ■Gender and Inclusion Workstream lead and all related outputs; ■Review of G&I workstream; and ■GESI Phase II research
