With funding from the Democratic Governance Facility (DGF), WFD is working towards increased participation and representation of youth and women in the policy-making process, particularly with the aim of pushing forward pro youth, women and gender-sensitive legislation. Working with the Parliament, Uganda Parliamentary Forum on Youth Affairs (UPFYA) and Uganda Women Parliamentarian Association (UWOPA), the programme is also creating platforms for women and young parliamentarians to engage with their constituencies.
