Maendeleo Agricultural Enterprise Fund (MAEF)

MAEF builds on the success of its predecessor, the Maendeleo Agriculture Technology Fund (MATF). The project\'s aim is to sustainably improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers in Eastern Africa through investing in agricultural technologies on value addition and entrepreneurship for output markets. MAEF will expand on the geographical remit of MATF and and has new and more flexible funding mechanisms to embrace a wider range of both applicants and donor investors.;
