As a key podoconiosis program partner of the Ministry of Health, National Podoconiosis Action Network (NaPAN) has continued supporting the ministry and regional health bureaus in general and the primary health care unit (PHCU) system in particular. In response to the demand in the third national Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTD) strategic plan 2021-2025 for expansion of Lymphoedema Morbidity Management and Disability Prevention (LMMDP) service in endemic districts, NaPAN has proposed a prevention and treatment project which contributes to the LMMDP service expansion in endemic districts.
