Monitoring the Implementation of the Elimination of Violence Against Women Law (Afghanistan)

This project will create a monitoring system to track the effectiveness and implementation of the new Ending Violence Against Women (EVAW) law on a year-by-year basis. AWN will use surveys, interviews, group-discussions and observation methods to assess the national government's attitude towards the EVAW law and its ability and willingness to enforce it. This project will also document how various interventions by national and international organisations have helped to strengthen Afghanistan's response to tackle violence against women. ;
