Increasing women’s participation in Parliament and local government in Zimbabwe

The aim of this project is to increase women's participation in politics and decision-making at all levels by providing information and skills training to women MPs, prospective candidates and councillors; by providing a place for women leaders and community women to meet and discuss women's issues; and by lobbying political parties and government to adopt and implement effective gender quotas to achieve 50% of women representation by 2013.;
