Tackling Violence Against Women in Peru: Strengthening Policies and Practices

This project aims to reduce poverty, exclusion and marginalisation of women and their families in Peru. We support our local partner to lobby officials and parliamentarians in order to improve the development and implementation of laws, policies and programmes to tackle violence against women. We also support them to raise awareness about violence against women, legislation and the effectiveness of regional services and programmes. Our partner also trains women leaders and women's organisations to monitor government policies and programmes to ensure their demands and proposals are included at all levels.;
