This project aims to contribute in a reduction in the number of women being infected by HIV/AIDS in Ghana by working with communities to recognise and understand attitudes and practices that increase the risk of HIV infection; by pushing for the government to properly resource HIV and AIDS programmes; by raising awareness on the links between gender inequality and HIV; and by streghtening the capacity of the local partners to become a stronger organisation. ;
