Support skills-building for 22,300 poor and marginalized people in Nigeria, Cambodia, Tanzania and Malawi and enable equal participation in value chains. Project objectives: 1. Support poor and marginalised people to access greater economic and social benefits through removing barriers to participation in selected value chains eg: equipping them in business skills, identifying opportunities for access to finance, support access to distribution channels, influencing government policy 2. Strengthen the capacity of VSO, our partners and local institutions to deliver EBD programmes at scale in selected value chains The programme is split into three components: Market development, skills development and programme management. This approach enables VSO to build on existing and develop new corporate partnerships, including with Accenture, and secure funding from organisations that have strategic interests in selected value chains or the wider agenda of private sector development
