The Diploma in Community Health (DCH) programme is the flagship training programme in Amref Health Africa, launched in 1987 in conjunction with McMaster University in Canada. The course is currently accredited to Moi University, Eldoret, Kenya. The programme has evolved from face-to-face training into eLearning mode and improves accessibility and cost-effectiveness of health care services by reaching out to underserved communities with high impact primary health care programmes. Wolfson College, the University of Oxford, provides an annual sponsorship for either one full student bursary or two partial student bursaries
