Support for AU and UNECA research on trade policy in Africa

ODI is partnering with the African Trade Policy Centre (ATPC) to achieve its vision of becoming Africa’s premier think tank on trade issues. The vision is for ATPC to become an Africa-based centre of excellence and a continental hub for providing and coordinating technical support for the development of trade in Africa. To achieve this vision, ODI and ATPC have formed a partnership with the following objectives: 1.To develop and deliver a joint ODI-ATPC programme of research and policy engagement on priority themes in trade policy in Africa 2.To provide support for technical capacity development of ATPC through placements, training and quality assurance.
