The goal of this project is to contribute to the socio-economic empowerment of persons with disabilities (PWDs) through employment and a comprehensive development of organization of PWDs in Tamil Nadu. The objectives of the project are, 1. To facilitate the employment for PWDs after imparting skill based trainings and linking them to the industries and offices functional within the project districts. 2. To strengthen five District Nodal Agencies (DNAs) by building leadership qualities so that they can work towards their welfare and development. 3. To empower the youth in the educational institutions in Tamil Nadu to become socially responsible citizens with committed approaches for the welfare and development of the PWDs.
