The aim of this project is to improve quality of life of persons with visual impairments and create awareness on eye health. It is also aimed at mobilising community for social inclusion of persons with disabilities and inclusive education. This project specially focuses upon social and economic rehabilitation of persons with visual impairment & forming self-advocacy groups of persons with disabilities to realise their rights and entitlements. It is envisaged that at the end of the project, community will start accessing better eye care services, and support social inclusion of the more than 150 visually impaired persons. The persons with disabilities will advocate for their rights.
