The project is implemented with the intention to demonstrate the GO-NGO collaboration where eye health services will be provided by BJAKS and a public facility targeting the poorest of the poor in particular. The project is collaborating to enhance the capacities of a public hospital and college in the district - government’s existing health structures in-line with WHO health system strengthening building blocks. The purpose of the project is to Strengthen health system to prevent and eliminate avoidable blindness from selected upazilas (sub-districts) of Comilla district through GO-NGO Collaboration. It has JOAC funding.
