This project focuses on strengthening CCEA through improved coordination and the rapid collation, generation and dissemination of health messaging related to COVID-19, relevant to humanitarian settings, grounded on a strong evidence base. Learning from both current and emerging disasters (such as that from Cyclone Harold in the Pacific) and as many disaster-prone countries are just beginning this crisis, this project, will: set out concise CCEA-specific lessons from previous responses; deploy two national staff to coordinate CCEA platforms in Sudan and Zimbabwe; and provide CCEA technical support remotely to existing national CCEA platforms.
